Material Performance Characteristics
1. Good oil resistance: usually made of materials with excellent oil resistance such as nitrile rubber (NBR) and fluorine rubber (FKM). These materials in contact with a variety of lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and other oil media, can maintain stable physical and chemical properties, not easy to dissolve, aging and other events, so as to ensure the sealing effect and service life of the oil seal.
2. Strong abrasion resistance: with good abrasion resistance, it can withstand long-term friction with the sealed parts. In the process of rotating or reciprocating motion, it can effectively resist abrasion, reduce the abrasion amount of sealing lip, reduce the risk of seal failure caused by abrasion, and improve the reliability and durability of oil seal.
3. Wide range of temperature resistance: According to different material formulations, DC type oil seals can adapt to a wide range of temperatures. For example, NBR material DC type oil seals can work in the temperature range of - 40°C to 120°C, while FKM material can maintain good performance in the extreme temperature conditions of - 20°C to 232°C, which can meet the requirements of different working conditions.
